A few recruiting tidbits I thought were interesting....

none of these are secrets.....all were taken off BB.....but a few of them stuck out to me that I didnt know....

Adarious Barnes, ATH, out of Port Gibson we just got a commitment from is the cousin of Dominique Banks, the stud DLman out of Denton, Tx we are recruiting....and he should commit soon....

Channing Ward was a man amongst boys at the camp, and was by far and away the best athlete at the big dog camp.....says he spent some time at the beginning of camp with Quay Evans, and QE says that MSU is still his leader because his love for Chris Wilson....unless it was a typo, Ward's mother actually attends MSU as a student now, and he said it "would be cool to go to the same school" his mother goes to....

BIG DL Nick James, who is abnormally fast for his size, is cousins with Dee Arrington....didnt know that....he had an awesome camp, and just made dandy dozen, and said he "could see himself committing to the bulldogs"


There is HUGE love for WR Fred Brown out of Jim Hill HS.....I have personally never heard of this guy, but there is some major love for him....ran 4.3/40 at camp as well and made some defenders look bad....

again, none of these are secrets....just what really stood out to me that I didnt know

My soph year at JCJC, she took a couple of art classes there. I don't think I saw here there once the whole year, although there were a couple of people who knew both of us (not countingmy old friends).

The OM sites have been talking about Fred Brown for a while also. He is evidently a little under the radar.

Banks tried to commit but the coaches want to evaluate him more. My guess is that the coaches feel really good about Ward, Evans, James and Jefferson. With those 4, that would about wrap up our DL class

I see Nick James going elsewhere. I would love to see Quay Evans and Channing Ward come to MSU, then convince Richie Brown that he wants to play LB behind them.

I know people are questioning Walley, but I trust Mullen and staff. Walley looks to fit the spread tight end mold. Maybe play the role of Aaron Hernandez at Florida with mismatches in the passing game. We will use a bigger tight end for blocking.

James is another Josh Robinson type guy from everything people have been saying. It is going to take a ton of work to get him in school.
