Eugene "Gene" Wardlaw passed away tonight after a long and hard fought battle with heart and kidney failure. Big Gene played for MSU as a center and was honored as a Playboy All American his Senior year. Gene is survived by his beautiful wife, 3 sons and 2 grandchildren. He was a teddy bear of a man that was loved by everyone he met and will be greatly missed. Rest peacefully Big Gene. Your work here is done.
