with losses to Oklahoma and Texas but beating K-State for their only loss. Does Manziel win the Heisman with the same numbers?

I say no. Welcome to the SEC A&M. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Yes because he'd go 12-0. jmo, if he went 10-2 then no he doesn't win. The Bama upset was the decisive game for him.

I'm not sure he'd win it even at 12-0 in the Big 12. And definitely not at 10-2.

I drank 3/4 bottle of wine tonight, but I doubt that is why I have no idea of what you are trying to say here.

Beating Alabama won him the Heisman. But damn, all he had to do was beat Bama in Tuscaloosa and do so while striking the Heisman pose during a real play from scrimmage while fending off a furious Bama defender.

Exactly, Bama really won another Heisman tonight, or at least won it for Manziel.

And we'll see how they stack up against the Big 12 when they play OU in the Cotton, they have to win by at least 7-10 to convince me that they would've had a chance to go 12-0 in the Big 12.

I think they were a typical Big 12 team this year, great offense and mediocre defense, it was just that the SEC doesn't have good enough offenses to consistently exploit their D. And for all the talk of how the Big 12 doesn't play defense and the SEC does, A&M sure put up Big 12 like stats against "SEC defenses" and finished BY FAR ahead of everyone in the league in offensive statistics.

I don't think he would have won it if their schedule was rearranged.

Had they beaten bama week 4 and he played the same game as he did against ole miss in week 9 or 10 no way in hell he wins it.

Basically he loses to 2 top 25 teams, beats a #1 team in K-State and has the same numbers. Would he have won the heisman?

Just replace their SEC schedule with Big 12. He won the heisman b/c of how great he played and who he played. In the Big 12, I don't think he would have got the recognition by beating a #1 K-State vs beating a #1 Alabama.
