I kind of think it's likely there will be a log-jam of 2-loss SEC teams for the 2nd bid to the BCS. Assuming:
(1) Alabama beats Georgia in SEC Championship for the Sugar Bowl auto bid.
(2) Florida State beats Florida
(3) South Carolina beats Clemson
(4) Everything else holds true to form:

You've got a log-jam of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and LSU sitting on 2-losses. So who is the 2nd team going to a BCS bowl? I think you can make an argument that Johnny Football and his Aggies are a fairly attractive choice.

Cotton Bowl would love A&M vs Texas...

I think LSU, Florida or Georgia goes ahead still just by ranking alone. I can't see the lowest ranked of the 4 goint ahead of all three. But A&M will bring their fans and annoying cheers.

Florida would have only 1 loss unless they lose to FSU and head to head wins over everyone except Georgia so probably them. If Florida loses then Texas A&M to the Fiesta sounds like a possibility

It would be a big matchup alright. You're saying A&M doesn't have the record to get in and that's true ... but is Texas good enough to get in? I'm not sure they are. They're 8-2 but still have to play TCU and Kansas State. Probably will be 9-3.

A&M's Offense vs Texas' Defense?? Hide the women and children.

That would get ugly and quick. Seems like a great idea in theory and ticket sales would be record numbers in a hurry but the actual game wouldn't be for the faint of heart.
