I took the job with the competitor.

The employer that I left was NOT happy about it. I gave them their 6 best years and now they all hate me for some reason. They even started nasty rumors about me (some were true though). I can't figure it out.

The city I'm moving to is much nicer so that's a big positive. Plus the food is much better - a man can only eat so many cold chicken tenders.
