Contain is a verb. You can't lose it. However, you can lose "containment".

it means: "Unable to be touched or grasped; not having physical presence." What they are really describing is a qb's ability to run with the football like a rb. If you know what it is and can describe it, its not "intangible."

Joe Pisspocket, was really dialed on that play

Coach Dick Short is gonna have to dial up a play to get them into FG range for kicker Luke Bumsqueezer.

..ever g'damn TV talking head in America thinks literally every area on the field is "4 down territory."

This weekend while you watch college football on TV, play a drinking game:

Everytime the TV color guy says, "This is definitely 4 down territory" take a drink.

A disclaimer: When you are rushed to the emergency room for alcohol poisoning, I bear no responsibility.

I don't like the words "yard line" after the number. I know that the 42 is the 42 "yard line"

That's mathematically impossible. What they mean is that it's 10% of the original size.

"on down the road" ..usually translated as'there may be great treachery and troubles later in the season.'
"we can't get in a track-race with these guys"..Jackie's explanation for, "we are slow as molasses"
"we have to learn todrive-in and lock-up"..probably a phrase stolen from Chicago Bulls.

It frustrates me even as an Ole Miss fan, because both programs are so crappy that it's considered noteworthy that fans give a **** and repeatedly noted while the team in question is getting beat.

But if you say it like this, it makes more sense...

"he is brought down at the forty-second yard line." Don't you agree?
