The other thread got me to thinking. I am not real sure what you can take away from this. I think you can see there are no bad losses really. 20 loses and none to a worst than 8-5 bowl team. What do you take away from this?

When added together our opponents have out scored us almost 2-1 in our losses in 4 years. Need to find a way to either score more or only allow half the points to be scored. Then we win the close games, and its a totally different picture.

wow- of Mullen's 20 losses- ONLY FOUR have been to teams that didnt win 10 games (assuming Bama, LSU, and A&M reach that plateau this season)- and only 1 in the last 3 years hasn't won 10 games

That tells you what we are facing and what a damn good job Mullen is really doing.

my 'take away' is ... sure as hell want to keep this streak going and don't want lose to the hogs or bears!

My problem is with the losses that say "Home" and don't say "Alabama or LSU." The next step as a program is to start winning the winnable home games against good teams that should be close games.

That, along with the fact that he increased our average attendance by 15,000/game, speaks volumes to the caliber of coach that he is.

Its like people forget that he inherited an offense that ranked in the 110's in every statistical category.
