It’s funny- there are so many times I read an Al post and say to myself ā€œis he f-ing nutsā€ lol and then I see how his over the top, often satirical statements often do just that, and it also just makes you smile, laugh and actually feel good for a moment.
Lesson to be learned by many- enjoy life and enjoy what you enjoy. Have fun with it.

Every year- we have the prediction thread and one poster jokingly says 15-0 every year. Everyone laughs at him. No one calls him an idiot. How is that any different?

The rivals national recruiting board topics, which RUFAN4LIFE is talking about, mostly revolves around politics. There is a liberal clique which supports my ideas and there is a conservative clique which does not, and understandably so.

You should understand the topic before you chime in.
Nope, I rarely go to the national board should maybe you shouldn't be telling @RUforlife to understand the topic before chiming in when you're trying to deflect from the actual activities I'm referring to.

You go to the sites of our opponents and post the same nonsensical threads you post here and then act like a total a-hole when they rightfully mock you. Saw this at least two times last year before the whole basis for your thread fell apart and you couldn't use it anymore.

You go there looking for attention not to represent RU fans. Half those boards consider you a bad troll.

I’m not desperate for attention. I love talking about Rutgers football and just happen to get attention for my views. You’re the one, motivated by jealousy, who is posting in my tribute thread. No one has ever made a tribute thread for you. I wonder why.
LOL, if someone posted a tribute thread I would ask them to delete it immediately. I'm not one that requires any type of spotlight like you do.

Got to give credit to Al. It seems that he was right all along, and your team is on the way back to prominence.

You rule!

As Gale Boetticher said, I doff my proverbial cap to you, Al!
Aren't you a Maryland fan? And that's OK, but a question for you if you are a Terp.
Do you have a poster on the Maryland boards like al or somewhere close?
I love positivity, but often al goes from positivity to delusion and baiting others to challenge him. He seems to enjoy the attention.

Since you don’t go to the National Board, you don’t understand it’s context either, so as usual you’re spouting nonsense.

I hardly have time to post on this board, let alone post on other boards, so none of the rest of what you’ve posted is true.

For beating a 1 win team from last year going through insane program turmoil?

I’m happy we won but for god’s sake this is a game we are supposed to win

For sure - no tribute to Al for the win.

That said, I hope you took note of what your guy Mike Houston’s offense looked like when it had to go up against Michigan’s defense. There’s Al, and then there’s the other extreme of guys like you who go on and on about how much better off we’d be with someone other than Schiano. I just hope you saw that the guy your so sold on basically just displayed an Ash-like offense when it went up against Michigan. Avoided the shut out by kicking a FG on 3rd down with time expiring. No matter how the rest of this season unfolds, I don’t want to see posts next off season about how Mike Houston would have our offense turned around any more than I want to see strings created by Al predicting us to the Rose Bowl next year.

If you expect ECU to recruit the quality of athlete to compete on the road vs #2 Michigan I have some beachfront property in Kansas for you.

Houston is a phenomenal coach we would be lucky to have. Greg cosches the most boring form of football imaginable and is incapable of putting up points in bunches. It’s honestly laughable that you expected a mid major to be able to compete vs the #2 ranked team in the country.

Turn in your football talking card because you have no knowledge of it.

Since this is the game you wanna hang your hat on, this same Michigan team beat the hell out of us 52-17 last year…

As for our offense, I saw some good things Saturday, I also saw Gavin miss about 8 throws he needs to make if we’re gonna have a shot vs a decent team.

I could drop dead tomorrow and would be more liked on opposing teams websites for the next 10 years than every other Rutgers fan, possibly combined.

They’ve invited me to their tailgates, put me on their radio shows, and asked me to write game previews. A small minority might mock but so what. The vast majority appreciate my contribution, and that goes for Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan. Don’t really bother with the others.

You should be embarrassed by your own insecurity which causes you to attack others. You’re the biggest douchebag on this board so it’s quite rich of you to accuse others of being the same. Only your boyfriend Madchuck appreciates your posts.

No,

There’s no other poster nationally as embarrassing as RutgersAl.

He’s beloved by some other fanbases simply because they are in disbelief of just how willing Al is to embarrass himself on a national scale.

There is no poster in the history of the internet, who has ever come close to the ā€˜JERSEY POWER’ video. That single post 12+ years later lives on in the memories of cfb fans everywhere as the single most embarrassing display ever made by a cfb fan

Rutgers has the same issues when it comes to competing with OSU, PSU, and Michigan. Yet you willingly give Houston the benefit of the doubt but gleefully slag Greg at every opportunity.

Rutgers and it’s boring offense, will still outscore ECU, when we play Michigan in a few weeks.

Gavin will get better. He had a 58% completion percentage which is good enough.

No,

No no no no…. Rutgers does not have the same issues. Rutgers is a P5 school.

Houston is an in demand coach with a proven track record of success at every stop. The last time Greg had success in coaching Jojo Siwa was in diapers….

You just have a really strange love affair with our coach

We absolutely have the same biggest issue when it comes to facing teams like Michigan. We don’t have enough talent. In the next two years, Rutgers will continue to close the talent gap, especially when you look at the ā€˜24 class.

your assertion that Mike Houston could come here and do better offensively is a joke since his offense mustered all of 3 points against Michigan. Last years Rutgers offense scored more than that, and our offense sucked last year. This years Rutgers offense should also do better.

This year has been Greg’s best coaching job yet. The team certainly looks bigger, stronger, faster, and more talented. If nothing else, it should be a fun year, a far cry from last year.

You are judging all this by a 24-7 victory over a team that was 1-11 last year, suffered a chaotic offseason, has a new coach, and a totally depleted roster? Wow, that game was a sure bell weather predictor for the rest of the season.

Last year- both BC and Temple may have been just as bad and we barely won either game.
Sunday's game was not indicative of the final score either. While we can't say we didn't fumble the punt so they do get the TD- we know it was really 24-0 - half a foot away from 27-0
And, we took no chances in the 2nd half. maybe took away another score. So, more like a 30/34 - 0 game.

We dominated every single aspect of the game. Even against a bad team- that usually does not happen unless you are one of the elites. What does it mean going forward- have no idea but it was a good win

It was a win and anything less than winning the first 4/5 games this year is unacceptable in the 4th year of a rebuild. Temple is up next, they are in the second year of a G5 rebuild, they barely beat Akron, one of the worst FBS teams in modern history. Then it is a Virginia Tech squad that beat Old Dominion, probably one of their few wins this year and of course Wagner. Let's not get too excited until we play some of our peers like MSU and Maryland, those are the programs we should be judged against, not Northwestern.

No Al, we don't.

If anything statements like that show just how clueless you really are to all of this. any mid major would DREAM of the kinda payouts and exposure we get at this point. To compare Rutgers to ECU in terms of talent in year 4 of Schiano is honestly not helping your cause here...

Al, you have no idea what you are talking about. Whats sad though is you are so desperate for attention that you actually take the time to respond to posters who are clearly making fun of you and taking it as a compliment. For god's sake man, get a girlfriend

More sweeping generalities and no substance. Don’t try to deflect the issue.

You’re the one asserting that Mike Houston can come to Rutgers and fix our offense. Yet his squad only scored 3 pts vs Michigan.

Mike Houston is in his 5th year at ECU, and they have less offensive talent than Rutgers. Schiano is in his 4th year and Rutgers is better offensively and defensively.

True we play in a better conference, but our infrastructure like Hale center is probably similar to ECU,, which is why we need a Fieldhouse.
