Kind of surprised it took them this long. That guy is a really special kind of stupid. Perfect plan for a crime. You don't want the police to be able to trace the car back to you, so instead of using your own car, you RENT a car. They'll never trace it back to you now. You know you've got to clean up the evidence and that's not as easy as just getting a broom & mop out, so you hire a specialty cleaning company to do the job. No way the police would ever think to interview the cleaners about what they saw. And you leave the security cameras on when you grab the gun and head out the door saying "You just can't trust anyone any more."
