That’s the NFL rule. In college, the entire ball has to be inside the upright.Ref is a few feet too far inside and not directly under the upright. But the other guy is....
Rule states if any part of the ball goes over the upright, it's good?

Ok it's a miss then. That’s the NFL rule. In college, the entire ball has to be inside the upright.
Ball was moving right to left. It really depends on where it was at the moment it reached the post. The pic makes that hard to tell, Even the way the refs are looking doesn't indicate it's there yet. It might be, but with the one responsible for that post too far inside, there was no way for him to know.Ok it's a miss then.
if that is indeed the ball at the top of the goalpost, it is a missed FGRef is a few feet too far inside and not directly under the upright. But the other guy is....

Ref is a “few feet” too far inside? More like six inches at most. It’s never going to be perfect….but that ref is the only one that can see it for certain. Too much is being made out of this. He missed it.Ref is a few feet too far inside and not directly under the upright. But the other guy is....

He missed it.Photo angle says that’s good. Don’t expect refs to understand that kind of stuff.
No surprise YOU would argue that. Just accept our lot, we suck anyway. That is SO old loser MSU. Enough of this loser crap. He made it.He missed it.

The picture is after the ball had gone through. It was slicing and went through the extended vertical plane.Ref is a few feet too far inside and not directly under the upright. But the other guy is....

I agree. Unless you can sync both angles, it's impossible to tell.Ball is well past the goalpost at that point. Picture is meaningless.
I've seen lots of hooks on a ball. Never seen one at the apex hook over 2 feet to the right in a span of 6 feet in depth. We missed it. Entire ball has to go entirely inside the upright in college.Ball is well past the goalpost at that point. Picture is meaningless.
