AC Reynolds vs Ardrey Kell

This game got my attention.
4-1 Ardrey Kell at 5-0 AC Reynolds. Both teams are tough. I feel like Ardrey Kell will take it but I could be wrong. Any info would be good. Thoughts or predictions.

Every year ACR schedules a tough opponent. Over the past decade some of the teams we have played include East Forsyth, West Forsyth, Crest, Shelby, South Point, just to name a few. Last fall football season(2019) ACR played both East Forsyth and Shelby in our first two games, both were defending state champions at the time. I promise ACR will schedule anyone they can because our coaches know it better prepares our team for the playoffs.

As for this game with Ardrey Kell I really don’t know much about AK except the scores I have seen. I know ACR will have to be at their best this week. I can’t wait to see the game and learn more about this young Rocket team!

Shelby we are doing pretty good, got a real young team with a freshman QB, Soph. RB, and 2 freshman and 2 Sophs starting on defense. We have more underclassmen then Seniors! Anyway, hopefully come fall we will see the Golden Lions again! Good luck and win yourselves another title!

Sure hope the mountain folks can take it to the great state of Mecklenburg. Show em the west can play too. Will this game be live streamed? Watching Shelby vs KM on the tube was awesome.

I know it will be on the NFHS network but you have to have a subscription for that. It’s like $10 a month and it shows all our games, and games all across the state and country.

Thank you for the reply. KM and Shelby had theirs on Youtube and their website for free! 2 different streams, depending on which announcers slant ya wanted to listen to. I may need to add the NFHS subscription. Many school stream for free and some are not on NFHS stream I have seen. It should be a good game. All the best!

This was about what I think most people expected. Maybe not a shutout, but that’s the difference between wnc football and mecklenburg county football. What is Ardrey kell, probably the 6th best team in the county?

Hats off to Ardrey Kell, they out played and out executed us. Their defense stoned our offense, but we were in the red zone twice and failed to score. Again credit to them and we did shoot ourselves in the foot a couple times with poor snaps and such but yes they were the better team. On to next week and try to win the conference title!
