Undergrad degrees don't set you apart any longer. Too many people are racking up loads and loads of debt going to an overpriced school that doesn't actually educate you any more than a decent state university will. Spend your money on a graduate degree that can set yourself apart if that's what you need to do for your career aspirations, but don't come out of school $200k+ in debt with only an undergraduate degree to show for it.

I'll be he first to acknowledge that the cost of a college education has outpaced the growth of family wealth over the past few decades. However, that doesn't excuse you from knowingly enrolling in an institution that's going to be you several hundred thousands of dollars in debt with only the prospects of a job paying you $30k/year. That's insane! There are cheaper ways of educating yourself while also putting yourself in a position to make a decent salary.
