"<font size="2">from what i have heard the georgia and florida ad's have discussed the possibilities of kicking out those two mississippi schools and inviting some others schools to create a super conference. they would like to get texas and maybe another school. the source i have at florida said lsu was backing this discussion as well."

When are these fools going to give up? I read that and thought, wow, surely this guy will get blasted... To my surprise, the majority of folks actually agreed with him and didn't challenge any of the crap that it just typed... friggin robots.

Yeah, I'm sure the LSU AD would be 100% in favor of getting rid of that automatic "W" for them in the SECW each year.

yeah i can see why. we get kicked out of the sec because our football team lost to la tech. in baseball we're probably top 3 or 4 in the conference ever. we are basically pioneers of the sport in the conference. in bball we are probably middle of the pack all time. recently (last 10 years) probably top 4. football-while not the our best sport by any means we are competitive and i still feel like we haven't stooped as low as a baylor of the big 12, temple of the big east, or some of the other schools in a particular conference who focus on one sport and are virtually bottom dwellers in the rest (see a lot of the acc members). usm is garbage in every sport other than football. and football will quickly not become their best sport once they magically enter the sec. their facilities are laughable even in comparison to ours (which probably are second worst in the sec in football and falling somewhere in the bottom half in bball). not to mention their fan base is nonexistent outside of forrest/lamar county. i'm not saying we offer the sec as much as lsu, florida or tennessee but putting replacing a charter member with usm is a bit out there. this would almost on par with putting emcc in the ivy league or making south panola the 33rd nfl team. yeah for some reason i don't see this ever ever happening....unless slive lost some sort of bet.

You might want to find a better example than Temple of the Big East. The Big East kicked them out a couple of years ago. They're in the MAC now. Temple almost got some measure of revenge yesterday though. They took UConn to overtime before losing 12-9.

if I were them- they are a LONG way away compared to any other SEC schools. I think Austin is about 10-12 hours away from Jackson.

Oh, and their fans suck. Texas-Austin is what Ole Miss fans would be like if they had something to brag about and decided to wear gay cowboy gear.

Edit after reading that thread- Why do they really think that their "academic standards" are so much better in the Big 12 than the SEC? That's just a small example of their arrogance. Uh, Vandy? And why do academic standards matter when you're talking about sports?

Oh, they're a bunch of tards who make Swan Lake look like a MENSA retreat. Rivals even ran the old board owner, who was a poor man's version of the Swan, off about the time Bower was canned.
