Need to find their own way home from Boston.

I don't think any of those guys will be back. Adams' stock will never be higher. Might as well move him while you can. I don't think there is any question that Freese's days on the StL are over. The question is, is his career over. Jay will be the 5th OF for the Cubs next year.

They have 35% of their payroll rolling off. I hope they use some of it to re-sign Beltran. You have to have veterans to win it all.

Freese should be gone. Adams better stay. Jay will be in a battle between Suga Shane and Oscar for CF.

Freese has a slow bat. Once the league figured him out, they weren't scared to pitch him inside. When he thrived in 2011, he was getting pitched outside and driving the ball to right and right centerfield. Now, he never sees a strike on the outside portion of the plate. Wong to 2nd and M. Carpenter to 3rd next year.

Adams is only a rookie. The league adjusted to him as well and quit throwing him fastballs for strikes. He'll have to readjust and learn to layoff the changeups low in the zone.

If Jay had speed or an arm, he would still possess some value. However, he has neither. He will be a 4th OF at best next year if he's even on the team. I like Robinson, but he's not an every day player.

I can live with Kozma at SS if we get more production out of the 3rd base and CF positions next year.

I'm ready for spring training to start.

Yeah, I thank Freese for what he's done, but I think it's time to part ways. Matt Carpenter can go back or we can go get someone.

CF- I don't get why Shane Robinson wasn't starting this series. I don't see him being a big downgrade in the outfield, and he was actually getting hits. Jay was an automatic out.

I kinda wish we'd offer Lance Lynn- I don't know if his stock will get any higher. I'd rather keep Shelby Miller. Lynn to me is a head case.

I hope we keep Beltran, as well. But I think we need a speedy 4th outfielder that can hit on hand.

Lynn is a mentally soft, but he will be back. He's the only other pitcher on the roster besides Wainwright that has proven durable enough to last through an entire season. I really wouldn't mind seeing some form of a 6 man rotation until Martinez, Wacha, and Miller have proved they can throw 200 innings.
