I went outside at 5:30 when it was 3-1 top 9. I just sat down and saw the C-L headline saying we won 4-3.

Major league WTF?

just felt like something was going to happen, unlike yesterday when we were poking the bat at the ball, hoping to get in the way of the cutter/slider/wicked *** **** that Kentucky dude was throwing. I have been wrong on "that feeling" many times though.

drive in the base runners. Inbred Bulldog I guess, it's in the genes to "abandon all hope".

and turned it on top of the eighth. Perfect timing. I usually jinx them when I do that, but this team overcame my personal jinxism.

I was bruising from work and even down 3-1 I still watched every minute after 5 pm. Now I have acquired 2 tickets and will be watching the day 5 of our tourney grind with my maroon shades.

I went to the game (wife dropped off me and my 4 yr old son) and at 5:30pm we were in the 8th and losing. I texted her and told her to be out front at 6:00pm to pick me up b/c my son had been whining and absolutely miserable since about the 3rd inning. So Pollorena hits the sac to tie it up and I get up and leave b/c its 6pm and she's outside waiting for me. So i followed the rest of the game on Twitter.
So i stayed for 99.99% of one of our greatest comebacks in the last decade. On a positive note though, I get to go to the game all by myself today so there's that.

Ended up going by the cigar shop after work, saw the score was 3-0 and sat down with some buds for a stogie. Walked in the house and my daughter had it on complaining about our hitting. Then she left in the top of the 9th and missed the comeback.

You win. That sucks.

I turned the radio off when it was 3-0 in the top of the 8th until I heard my daughter hooting and hollering that twitter was blowing up about State. Got to a TV and watched the 10th inning though.
