Unfortunately this very thing happened to a child on my wife's side of the family. He later died and the guy that did it is in prison for a long time.

But it truly is tragic.

This is why every state should have the death penalty.

There is no excuse for abusing or hurting a child.

Louisiana has the death penalty for molesting children. As far as I know it's the only one like that in the country, and I agree with it... and I'm not even a guy who necessarily agrees with the death penalty.

Adrian Peterson is an incredible player OFF the field so you have to hate this for him. He's the finest example of someone who made it big but remembers where he came from. He regularly goes back and treats fans like human beings. He's known for talking with fans at autograph sessions and when asked why he told a reporter that he wants to look each person in the eye and let them know that he appreciates their admiration.

Any other player I'd be thinking to myself that he should go and beat him within an inch of his life, but AD is better than that... I just hope it works out OK.

Some people deserve to be beaten within an inch of their lives. There would be no shame on AP if he did that in this case. He'd probably be considered a hero.

This is the kind of reason that makes me support the death sentence

Sorry to make it "political" DS, but people who do things like this need to die. String the ************ up for the world to see.
