this is the biggest rumor du jour out here in America's Teamland. Rumor is that Jerruh thinks Peterson would be the final piece of the puzzle for a Super Bowl run.

My opinion? If Peterson went to the Cowboys, they'd have to trade or cut a lot of folks to make cap space. This would be a reverse of the "Herschel Walker to the Cowboys" trade that built The Team of The 90's.

If the Vikings owner does this then he's proven to be a worse owner than Al Davis. AP is the only reason there are butts in those seats right now and he gives you a chance to win every Sunday. Take him out and they will go winless the rest of the year. He's arguably, maybe not even arguably, the best player in the nfl and possibly the best ever at his position. I'm not a Vikings fan but I'd be pissed if they traded him, especially to that asshat jerry jones.

They don't have a chance to win on Sunday's at this point. I wouldn't disagree with the move. RBs go down hill so quickly today. He's 28, and he's already blown out a knee once. He probably only has 3 or 5 years left as a premier guy. Vikings need to blow it up and start over. They messed up drafter Ponder, but I get it based on what Rookie QBs make now.

ESPN has a hypothetical of Adrian Petersen to the Giants for Justin Tuck & David Wilson, plus some draft picks.
