Much better kid than he is a player. Really hope he stays focused and doesn't let distractions affect him. Also, don't be surprised if he ends up at safety in college

Really hope he's our starter next season. I've been disappointed with our rb's so far this season. None seem to have the speed and power combination to be a great sec rb. We have good rb's, but no game changers.

You've seen enough to be disappointed in Shumpert?

I love shumpert's power. He's very powerful. I've seen him on a few sweeps and he looks very slow though. Shumpert IMO will be very effective between the tackles, but I'm not so sure on outside runs. I'm certainly no professional though. Hopefully he was waiting on blockers.

You don't feel speed could be an issue for shump, if used as every down back?

The more I think about it... Dixon wasn't fast either, but very effective. If we decide to feature shump, we probably need to use more fb and hit teams up the middle.

I was going to post the same thing before you edited. Dixon wasn't a burner by any means. We just effectively schemed for him by using a fb.
