I have decided I jumped the gun on thinking Dana might not be the man for the job. I have been watching college football since 84 ( my first game at WVU I remember) and I know enough to say that WVU is just getting beat by better programs. The only game I hold against Dana if any is the Oklahoma State game and even then its hard to blame him for that. The turnover on our own goaline was the difference in that game. Other than that WVU has lost two games to two top 5 teams another game to Oklahoma who is always a top ten team and gave away a game against a Oklahoma State team who will finish at least in the top 15. I will wait until the season is over before allowing myself to get into jumping off of a bridge mode again because that is the only fair thing to do. I will not be surprised if WVU finished 8-4 and goes to a good bowl. If so then its hard to fire Dana and see the season as a failure. Right now everybody needs to just accept the fact WVU has lost 3 games to teams better than WVU and had a great chance to upset a very good Oklahoma State team but came up short. That is just the reality of the situation and nobody can dispute that. If WVU blows games against teams we should beat like Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas State ect then we have another thing to talk about. Until then people including myself need to realize this is how it will be for WVU for a while until we build a program capable of winning the Big12 every year. People better learn patience because it might be a while
