We were also optimistic after wins over TCU, Texas Tech, Auburn, Oklahoma and ISU in that 4 out of 6 stretch. Then were beaten badly the next 2 games and lost to Texas Tech at home. They need to win next 2 games or they're done.

It was a single close game against an opponent that was sleep walking. KU had every reason to phone it in against is based upon our previous performance and being on the road. Let's not read too much in to this.
