I have concluded that Herm Edwards is the worst Color Commentator I have ever heard. He was totally unprepared and had no idea what he was talking about.<div>
</div><div>Play-by-play guy after Russell completes a pass to(called him Green but it was Henderson)Henderson, " These tight ends aregoingto be used a lot in the spread offense, aren't they Herm."</div><div>
</div><div>Herm Edwardsresponds, " ....... um.......... yeah, this guy (Russell) is an accurate passer.."</div><div>
</div><div>I could have done a better job than he did.</div>

and you are right, TOTALLY unprepared. Got just about every name wrong. Including the name of our town, our school, a couple of coaches and just about every player on the field. Didn't seem to understand football and never really answered a question posed to him. It was like having a five year old in the broadcast booth. I can't believe they would let him do another game after that, he was just pathetic.

I'll never understand, with all of the options out there with former players and coaches from college football that we constantly get stuck with leftover analysts from the NFL. I'd rather have old man Lou, and that's really saying something. ESPN's making a ton of money off of SEC football. The least they could do is provide some decent crews.

because I think it was his first time doing color commentary, at least I hope it was. What bugged me was he kept calling Heavens Berry and even called Relf Reese one time. Not sure where that came from. Maybe a combination of Relf and Chris?
