He always does just enough to save his job. I’m terrified somehow joe is going to go 7-5 next year and we have to endure more years with him.

Other than his first year, Gus has lost at least four games in every season. Don’t think he’s a bad coach but you are right, he does just enough to not get fired but plenty to piss their fans off.

Fear not, I think Moorhead will go 4-8 or 5-7 next year. Losses at NC State, at Kentucky, at Ole Miss, at LSU, at Alabama, plus home losses to Texas A&M and Auburn.

Toss in some struggles with teams that we shouldn't struggle with like Missouri and Tulane (yes, I believe we will struggle with Tulane...hey Joe had 2 weeks to prepare for a bad Tennessee this year and we see how well that went). I foresee Joe being fired after Lane Kiffin runs the score up on our Defense in the Egg Bowl.

If he loses at NC State the season is officially over. They are a bad, bad team.

With the talent discrepancy Tulane should be a pushover for this team, but yeah they'll likely run circles around us.

Speaking of Tulane, anyone given thought to Will Hall their OC as a head coach at state, was head coach at UWG before taking OC job, from Mississippi, Tupelo I think. School in North Alabama. Just a thought?

Way wait for the obvious? I understand the ramifications regarding money and recruits but next seasons poor attendance and bad loses will cost us more then making a move now. I realize the majority is looking to hang Cohen but he can’t be that naive nor egotistical not to see the obvious in order to save next years and future seasons, make a move now!

He may lose 4 a season, but he wins 9/10 every year also.

Not quite. He has only won 9+ 3 times in 7 years. He has 3 8-win seasons, and one 7-6 season. If you take away the first season (which was one of the luckiest seasons I've ever witnessed. You could easily point to a couple of games they should have lost but somehow pulled it out in the end), then he wins 8.3 games per year. Mullen also had 3 9+ win seasons in his first 7 years. He is basically having Mullen at MSU success with the addition of actually being able to beat Bama at a school with far greater resources that should expect more than 8-4 every year.
