After watching him call 2 games I've concluded that

Herm Edwards is the worst announcer/analyst in the history of televised sports. The guy is unintelligible. It's like he's speaking another language. He's even more annoying than all the Bammer love from Uncle Vern and the ESPN crew.

I've never liked him on NFL Live or any of that other crap, mediocre coach and worse announcer, no doubt.

Just watching the Memphis game on DVR was awful.

Announcer: "And coach, the tight ends are a big part of this Mississippi State offense."

Edwards: "Yeah he's an accurate passer."

... What?

he just is not cutting it in the announcers booth for some reason. I am willing to give him a few more games to get his feet wet.
