Dak should not play this weekend.

I think he will and usually I would agree for rhythm purposes, but Dak played trrble. He threw maybe 2 passes on target. He didn't look confident. Any rest that he could have gotten in this week and a half would have paid off over the next 4 weeks.

Disagree, I think it is time to lighten up on the tape job and release the

Daken!

This weekend we should see Dak Prescott, pocket passer, for about a quarter maybe a quarter and a half. NO designed runs and he should be told not to run unless he can walk into the endzone untouched.

I think you'll see the 1B offense for a drive in the 1st and 2nd Q, and we'll evaluate where we are at halftime.

I think he has to play and get reps. I'm not saying play him the entire game, but use him like we did against Southern. Play him the 1st and 2nd quarters, giving Damien a series or two in there and then open up the 3rd with a Dak series and call it a day for him. Keep in mind, he's not a seasoned veteran. He's barely played 16 games in his career. He needs to continue working on his footwork, timing with receivers, and communication during actual games. Give him strict rules on staying in the pocket, and let him get some work in on his decision making from the pocket. I know most don't care about his heisman campaign, but try telling an 18-22 yr old kid, whose dreamed of this, that sitting him an entire game is for the greater good. No person battling for the heisman lead is going to be sat for a full game this late in the season. Mullen will not do that to him.
