Spent the weekend setting up Agentic Ai, and let’s just say I don’t own enough semi-conductors.

Now I know why AI is going to be so big. It basically helped save me $1,000 a month in bills and that is on the first run.

The imagination can run wilds with the capabilities. We aren’t about to see an explosion in productivity and creativity.

Started putting together my team of Grok bots last week. The capability is amazing. Just imagine what this will be like in a couple of years much less 10 years from now.

Which AI platform are you using? Are you having it run through your personal finances or business or both(to find the savings that you mentioned)?

Grok bots

Yes i connected my finances, all of it. It connects through the PLAID service which i've used for several other things before. I never got to a point I was uncomfortable sharing. The only thing i havent given it yet is my tax return or SSN.

Whatever, if it kills me then it kills me. But it is set up thoughtfully. It connects to Schwab but is read-only. No write access so it wont go making makign trades or sending people money etc.

It went through all my accounts and made suggestions on what to atlk to my accountant about etc. It will save me a lot of money.

Connected it to by BCBS insurance and it goes through and makes several suggestions. Once you connect something one time, it remembers so then you can just pepper it with questions at any point in the future.

I set up a CFO BOT, A grocery bot, Calendar, email etc.

welcome to 1 year ago, why would you need AGENTIC Ai, to run cost models? You need it to run unsupervised? Why? Just use an LLM and save yourself the money.

I've used it since early 2024 for coding production level software. Bounced around on a number of different models; currently using Anthropic's Fable. Requires the 100 a month subscription, but you get access to their top level stuff. Has made me 10x more productive in my trade. Indispensable at this point.

Elsewhere? I use it as a research tool but haven't hooked it up to finances or anything like that. We're probably at the point where it can be trusted well enough -- I'm probably a bit gun shy given all the mistakes I've witnessed from it first-hand over the past few years.

Is there a cliffs version of this lol.
That's fireheads area of expertise so he is probably ahead of the curve. All the developers or software nerds have been using it for a while. They basically had to build it in a user interface for us normies to use. That's what grok bots is in my opinion. That's how i understand it, i could be wrong. I expect several new products and user improvements coming from all these companies.

It shocks me how many people don’t know how to use AI. I probably get 3-4x as much work done today at a higher quality.

Opus 5.5 was an incredible leap. Sonnet 5.5 is amazing for visualizations and instructional videos. Plug in eleven labs and have it narrate. Or tap into Higgsfield and produce a movie studio quality clip.

It’s incredible for tax and estate planning.

incredible for making decks and financial models.

Incredible for consumer use cases like planning a trip or home repair.

I have stayed away from most law and healthcare uses, but it will get there.

We produced a marketing video in 15 minutes the other day for about $1 in tokens. This would’ve taken weeks and about $20k from an agency previously.

@fatpiggy Im considering dumping every stock in my “play” account and put it all in SpaceX. Talk me out of it.

xAI, Grok and Grok bots, Starlink, Cursor, X, rocket business, etc. The potential of this business is unreal.

Hard to YOLO on it but i essentially have.

I like the hardware plays like NVDA. I still like memory here like SNDK, COHR, MU etc. The market is pricing in that they are in a cycle and demand will fall off. I disagree. I think the demand explodes more than the market is anticipating. After messing around with it this weekend, i see it. I see the direct value agentic ai creates and you can just see so many use cases. Hardware is needed to run it all.

Thats my theory and I am sticking to it. We haven't even seen the humanoids yet.

Why would anyone buy space x when in a few weeks you can own Anthropic at half the multiple?

2/3 of space x launches are for starlink. There is no demand for it

starlink is a niche product with tech that doesn’t work for where the majority of the developed world lives. And if they want to provide access in cities and buildings, they will need to build the same infra as the telcos.

Xai doesn’t have a research org. It bought cursor, which has a good product - 3rd or 4th in market - but is getting passed by meta and battling Google for 4th place.

Twitter has been a failure of an acquisition financially, though he has had personal success using it to amplify his agenda.

Grokbot is a great product. Just like dots or perplexity computer, or Hermes, or openclaw. Hmmm…. Maybe not that difficult to build in this case.

But you failed to mention the only biz that actually makes money and has growth potential - it’s cloud business. Since he couldn’t keep a research team together and got his *** kicked in the model wars, he started selling all the excess capacity in his very poorly networked and illegally powered data centers. Because he doesn’t know what he’s doing, those GPUs crank out about 30% of what they should. Still, there is such a demand for compute because other companies are building great products, so he can sell those poorly networked racks because there is insane demand for compute right now.

I just don’t understand how people give this guy their money. He personally makes more money than his companies do and people think he’s a genius.

I agree with you on compute. 2.2% of households have an AI sub. Enterprise adoption is in its infancy.

but humanoids will run compute at the edge so that won’t create much demand for data centers. The general purpose models are coming but humanoids are not going to be the hardware adopted for those in the first many applications. Tesla has zero paths to a general purpose model for robotics. So they will either need to acquire one (and researchers don’t want or need to work for musk) or they just make the commodity hardware. There are over 500 companies in China manufacturing humanoids so it really isn’t a high value business to make the hardware.

i'm staying long it. I know it's overvalued but Elons companies command a premium. Fair or not i don't know but they do.

I hedge the position with collars when i can. So if it collapses ill have some protection.

Yeah I’ve got about half my play account in spacex and Tesla and have for a while now. Elon’s probably a little too large to fail - at least with this administration - so I don’t really see any downside over the next two years.

then again I know fuckall about investing and pay someone to do it for me, outside of my play account

His companies trade at valuation multiples that other companies wont come close to reaching. We can all speculate as to why.

There is a real ELON risk too. If something were to happen to him, i think the values of his companies would drop 50% instantly.
