My sisters family is all huge Auburn fans, bro-in-law went there, nephew goes there, niece is going there next year (MSU was 2nd). So I guess I've got to pull for the Barners. I really don't care too much though. Just want to see a good game. I don't think I will, though. I think Bama is going to blow them out.

When it comes to the Arn Bowl, I'm a front-running fairweather fan. Back in 1986, I went to an Iron Bowl party hosted by a couple Bama graduate friends of the family. They handed out Bama shirts for all of us to wear. Unbeknownst to everybody, I wore an Auburn shirt underneath.
With 15 seconds left in the game, the Auburn TE ran in for a touchdown. I tore off my Bama shirt and started shouting WAR EAGLE!!! Much fun was had by all.
My favorite Iron Bowls were the 1980, 1997, 1998, 2000, and 2007 games- Those were the years we beat both Bama AND Auburn.

Auburn is the luckiest team I've ever seen. They could easily have about 4 losses. They are basically this years Florida team from last year. They will keep it close for about a half and then bama will embarrass them.
Living in the town of BamaNation, MS (aka Waynesboro), I'd love to see this bunch of sidewalk Tide fans get their perfect season ruined. War Eagle! I sure hope my Tide loving wife isn't reading this. I guess I'll give her a pass since she was raised in Alabama.

My hatred goes back to 1974 when we beat them in Jackson and that ***** Shug Jordan whined to the SEC long enough to get our cowbells banned. I hate them for paying Cecil Newton and getting away scott free. On my s**t list Ole Miss is #1, Auburn is 1a.
I will go to my grave hating Auburn over Cam. I will never, ever, cheer for them in anything. (Well, if Auburn beating Bama meant we won the West, I would, but in barring very specific circumstances, I would not.)

My point exactly. They were some lucky bastards this year, but a beard own might knock some of the bloom off that rose. A win over Bama would only solidify the momentum. A lose and they might revert to a top 3-7 SEC program rather than a 1-2 program. I'd rather the former.

I want an SEC team in the championship game. I don't want Ohio State in the championship game. If Auburn or Missouri win next week (and FSU takes care of business) AND Ohio State wins today (that's not a guarantee right now), the media may push to snub a better SEC Team for OSU.

As others said, 17 Auburn
Most of the Alabama fans that went to Alabama (I know, it's only 15%) are smug but pretty nice. Auburn fans are delusional (much like our brethren to the North). They think they are every bit as good of a program as Alabama. So I want Saban to come out like in 2010 (without the collapse) & kick the **** out of them.
