I think he'll be a good coach too. He was a good player, but he also was personable and will hopefully relate to the players. Not all NFL players are good HS coaches. Or good coaches. But MM might be. He also really had to earn his PT at UNC.

He can easily set his schedule to be at the school in time for practice or meetings. Closes at noon on Fridays now.

He has been an ACC official for several years. Looks like he is trading spots.

I think this is a great addition to the staff by Mike Newsome. Not only does Morton bring Super Bowl championship experience to the team, but more importantly, he's also a Morehead Scholar and can bring the example to the student-athletes that you can be an academic and athletic achiever, all at the same times.

I have a feeling that the players will learn far more than football from him, which makes this hire so strong.

Wow, what a great hire. Burns and i think Crest as well had a former super bowl winner ask to help out but declined. :)
