Actually a pretty good summary. He makes a good point about the rest of the team. We're not just waiting on Dak to "break out". Bear, JRob, and everybody else has to perform well enough to keep the momentum going. Sure, Dak is a big part of everyone else's success, but to get to that stage the rest of the team has to help make Dak look good.
Yeah, the writers at AL.com really don't think MSU has anything. AL.com took a big dump on MSU when selecting their All-SEC team.
You have to remember that AL.com is nothing more than a pro-Bama homer hangout. Their reporters would be drawn and quartered if they dared to write a typical KV or Marshmallow-type "investigative" piece on Bama. They won't give any other team in this league credit for anything.

Thought it covered both the reasons "why and why not." good and bad points. I agree that the writer doesn't 'know' what we have returning and that is an advantage. He did point out that for Dak to be successful with these kind of awards, it will ALSO mean that State will have to have a really GOOD year. One of the main points ... to be in the running, Dak has to stay healthy.
Huge positive ... PRESCOTT IS A HIGH-CHARACTER GUY
