I thought it was a conservative joke that began as a backlash/parody against all the bat-**** crazy hippies that tried to enlighten the world one person at a time after "An Inconvenient Truth" came out. For some reason, I specifically remember The Office making fun of the idiots using Nard-dog as the proponent for global warming saying on a sunny day "I bet it was supposed to be really cold today.'
The beginning years of this "debate", Gore used Temperature to support his whole argument. Well, the last 2 years or so we've lost every bit of "warming" that we ever gained in the last hundred years or so. Well, then, they say to themselves, "look, we're going to lose a lot of money if we keep with this 'warming' thing" So, then, they alter the debate to "climate". Ahh... now we got it. <div>
