Of course it is. I don’t disagreeJust like the rush to make a school shooting political is a joke.

I agree and I haven't read many people joking about those people dying most are just saying that Alec made crude comments about shootings on Twitter and now he finds himself in the same situation.
Then it sounds like you and I agree that too many things get turned political by both sides.Of course it is. I don’t disagree
I thought you ignored me? Lying again, right? Then find anywhere I posted any such thing. I’ll wait.
Ed was joined at the hip with Baller. Self explanatory, if you remember Baller. I suspect he and Kybassfan are the same poster. Or at least double cousins. Watch for his response to this post. Deflection galore. You're probably correct. Ed loves to troll people and be hypocritical about attacks. How he hasn't been permanently banned is beyond me.
Just sharing and no idea if true or not.
No, I'm not saying that at all.So you are saying Baldwin probably thought the gun was safe? He thought the prop department did their job? Makes sense.
That Glengarry Glen Ross scene though is still one of the goat.
Might you have been gazing into a nearby mirror as you typed your insults? I only ask because it here we find you. And the profanity? What's that about? Coming from someone who must believe oneself to be without fault. Living that life must be a challenge and maybe that's the reason for pent up frustration and the lashing out. Baby steps are recommended as you cope to realize that rest of us don't really care so much about what you think. Have a blessed recovery...remember, baby steps.JFC this thread just confirms what an utter cesspool this forum is. Seriously, so many people here are just completely garbage human beings.
You know almost zero facts have come out. But don’t let that stop you from acting like you know the facts. No, I'm not saying that at all.
Even if he "probably thought the gun was safe" it doesn't matter, either legally or morally. The prop department wasn't in possession of the gun when it was discharged, the prop department didn't intentionally point the gun at a human being, and the prop department didn't intentionally pull the trigger. This is solely on Baldwin.
No I do have you on ignore. But I could see you commented on me and it got the best of me. Won’t happen again.I thought you ignored me? Lying again, right?
I know the facts about gun safety/responsibility, and unless Baldwin intended to kill that person he didn't follow them. You know almost zero facts have come out. But don’t let that stop you from acting like you know the facts.

How about you do you and let others do them without being scolded by a message board Karen?Ongoing investigation. Give it time. Baldwin just released a statement, but it's the typical I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation type thing. One of the main problems with society now is everyone wants an answer this second and then there's instant speculation. Heck, I just did it with my theory.
As for your second point, what's your point? He's an actor with opinions. I don't pay attention to them but maybe you do and disagree. That's fine. A personal goal in life for me is that if something like this happens, that I don't immediately yell about that person's politics. James Woods is conservative and a great actor. If this had happened with him, the last thing I'd do is complain about his personal opinions and try to spin the death as a win for "my side". Obviously many would though.
Apparently it was a scene where they are shooting directly at the camera. My question is why was he aiming and firing a prop gun at the crew and also why were 2 people shot?
Yes. Prop guns (and any bullets in the gun) are supposed to be checked by the crew to ensure safety before they ever reach the actors in order to avoid situations like this and the Brandon Lee one.Isn’t it someone’s job to set up and check all props used? Pretty sure some guidelines are in place.
CGI is generally pretty expensive.Exactly. I don't understand how, in 2021, any type of gun capable of firing any type round even makes its way onto a movie set. How hard could it be to mock up a replica of ANY weapon? Furthermore, if they are using a real gun (or even a "prop" gun), how the hell does live ammunition even get anywhere near a set?
If a pistol is to be used, just remove the f#cking barrel and add in a CGI muzzle blast with a sound effect. If it's a revolver just use snap caps, or better yet don't use ANYTHING, and then add a blast/sound effect. It really shouldn't be hard or expensive.
I read this was supposed to be a pretty low budget movie. Not surprising corners were being cut.Yikes. Yahoo so probably fake news.
Hours before actor Alec Baldwin fatally shot a cinematographer on the New Mexico set of "Rust" with a prop gun, a half-dozen camera crew workers walked off the set to protest working conditions.
cont'd
"Corners were being cut — and they brought in nonunion people so they could continue shooting," the knowledgeable person said.
There were two misfires on the prop gun on Saturday and one the previous week, the person said, adding "there was a serious lack of safety meetings on this set."

Alec Baldwin is your lead, so....yeah.I read this was supposed to be a pretty low budget movie. Not surprising corners were being cut.
Not when compared to an innocent life.CGI is generally pretty expensive.
Stay mad, hoe.Because I’m not a monster. Why are you taking such joy in it?
Ditto....he's a huge Richard and his arrogance went down a few notches I'd sayI can't figure it out. All I know is a liberal with a firearm is one of the most dangerous things on earth. Most liberal are urbanites who have no clue about which end is up on a firearm. They are also afraid of firearms. Fear is dangerous when you are handling a hand gun. Especially if the lib is Alex Baldwin. He has a record.
We could all live a thousand years and nothing this stupid will be repeated on a movie set. Leave it to a moron like Baldwin to make history. I hope the families sue him for everything he owns and his insurance company denies the claim so the money comes out of his pocket. Dumb ***.
Soemone dies everyday.....nobody on here wants your respectSomeone dies and the usual suspects flock here to make it political. I would lose respect for you all but you can’t go lower than zero on the respect scale. Congrats on having something to rally around for a few days.
Ed getting his rear handed to him on here is so common you can could set your watch by itActually it’s a great post![]()
ED is in a conatant state of being offended...unless he's a groomsman in a wedding of a friend who has repeatedly cheated on his fiance....then he just belly laughsWhy are you offended?
Says the guy who took joy at the wedding in the fact that his friend cheated on his fiance many, many times....find a dictionary and have someone read it to you about hypocrisyBecause I’m not a monster. Why are you taking such joy in it?
Because we all laugh at youSo why does this make you do happy?
It won't help his case that he has a long, ugly history of being abusive and incapable of managing his anger. Exhibit A, threatening the 12-year old "Pig" as he called his daughter.
CGI is generally pretty expensive.
Why would you be pointing a gun at the crew? You said the camera was what it was being pointed at, wouldn't that shoot the camera man or woman?
Sounds like the armorer neglected to remove the ammunition from the gun before bringing it to set and then didn't tell anyone.
