needs to be sit down. Get him off the field.

How many crappy personal fouls is that against him. Has he not learned anything from his earlier transgressions?

Really hard to pin this on Lewis, and in fact I don't think you can. It was dumb, but he wasn't the reason we lost..

How do you know? If you are going to do that ****, take the guy out and make him feel it. A ******* love tap for that penalty. RIDICULOUS.

How do you know? If you watched the game, you know he wasn't the reason we lost. Dropped balls, first quarter defense, special teams penalties, shanked punts. Take your pick and then some. He made a stupid play but that comeback doesn't happen without him either.

Oh yeah, those were reasons we were behind the whole game, but those weren't the reasons we LOST the game. There are TWO reasons we LOST the game. TA under throwing that pass and the EXTREMELY stupid penalty on Alex Lewis. If you don't see that, than I can't help you.

How about benching Tommy next week. Interception right before the half and then the EXTREMELY stupid interception to kill our chances in OT.

Do I have to justify that with a reply? A total difference with a qb trying to make a play and making a mistake and a STUPID personal foul.

People on here either don't understand football or are complete trolls. A lot can happen in overtime on your possession. You have to keep your head and keep battling. The fifteen yard penalty hurt us incredibly on Miami's possession. Without that penalty that field goal is wide right.

This was a team loss, almost a great comeback too many drops is what really cost us the game, that and the pass D was obviously pretty off the 1st half. Hopefully we get more athletic, play smarter going forward. Like how the kids came back at the end!

tommy trying to "make a play'' on 1st and ten in OT was more STUPID and costly than what Lewis did

Really, a play trying to win the game over a play where the the player is jogging out of bounds and you tap him with your shoulder pad. GET REAL.

yes .. it is an idiotic play to throw it up while scrambling trying to win the game on 1st and ten in that situation

when he started to scramble he should have been more concerned about not losing the game on that play than trying to win it ...

RollingLaugh So being behind doesn't factor into a loss? If we don't fall way behind and we score 23 points in the fourth quarter, OT doesn't happen and those TWO plays don't happen. If you can't see that......nobody can help you.
So a guy missing a three pointer at the end of a game is the reason you lose a game too?

they showed the stats before the start of OT ... if you have the ball first and don't score in any fashion you only have a 7% chance of winning the game

so TA's pick in OT took the odds of Neb winning that game from ~50% to 7%
Lewis penalty took the chances from 7% to ??? 3%

which was the more stupid and costly play??

Great idea.... Tommy sold his soul today.... what are you watching? Can't believe somebody who has ever watched a Nebraska game would say this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason we lost was piss poor defense. Obviously that wasnt helpful but to claim an olineman is the reason we lost is not well founded to say the least.

If we lost that game 33 - 10 then yes the piss poor play in the first 3 quarters caused the loss. However, we were tied at the end of regulation so none of that crap matters at that point. We hadn't LOST the game at that point (we didn't win it either, but we hadn't LOST it either). There are only two reasons we LOST the game and I already posted those

None of that mattered? So the pick at the end of the half that saved Miami from losing at least three points didn't matter? The holding call against Miami in the fourth that negated a TD didn't matter? Those are just two plays that would have kept the game from OT and then the two plays you blame the loss on don't happen. I rarely attack someone but you're a moron if you think a game is won or lost on one or two plays at the end of a game. EVERYTHING AND EVERY PLAY leading up to OT mattered. Like I said, The comeback doesn't happen without the play of Tommy and Lewis. So don't pin the loss on just those two.

Do you have comprehension problems? That stuff mattered for us winning the game, but in the end they didn't matter for us losing the game. That personal foul was exponential more important and that kind of crap shouldn't be tolerated.

Edit: Was I pinning it it on Tommy? This post was about Alex Lewis and his personal foul history. A difference in trying to make a play and the crap we saw from Alex Lewis.

Hey jib & yort...

So the next time someone fumbles the ball just get pissed and rip a guys helmet off and start swinging??? Remember when Brook threw that interception against Miami. Our players just should of forgot about the game and started swinging. We were never gonna beat miami in the old Orange Bowl anyway!!!!!!
My god...

Edit....yes you are pinning it on Tommy. Or is my reading comprehension still in question?

And again, moronic to say earlier moments only matter if we win but not if we lose. Go to bed and sleep off the alcohol clouding your judgement.

So, let me get this straight, you're defending Alex Lewis' penalty?
