They could wear these as long as they win. :D
My high school coach back in the 70s thought having the team learn ballet would help us on the field. Through multiple lessons in the gym, I'm not sure we improved on the field, but the rest of the school sure found it entertaining.

I remember when one could be proud to go in the Big Red store in Tulsa and pick up memorabilia, hats, etc that could be made and sold by anyone before all the Big Names had to ruin it and have their (and the U's) "official stamp of approval" to collect pennies hither & yon. Some of the stuff was superior quality, some not but at least it was semi-free enterprise

I am just ready for some Sooner Football, I hate bye weeks. Waiting on the next game day after a bye week is like waiting on a woman to make the first move. :p
Bye weeks can save a season as it gives teams time to heal, refocus and prepare. This past weekend was greatly needed by Riley's team coming off an ugly Baylor win.
It also allowed the staff to do some recruiting....hopefully in the direction of at least two linebackers.
7 times between 1962-1970, OU had a bye week before Texas....and lost all but one game.

Yep, bye week probably came at a good time.

I'm guessing this idea came from listening to Lynn Swann. He was big into ballet

i hate these and the white ones.use the tried and true OU uni's.they are the best.[/QUOTE
Right, okee...OU is Rich in Tradition, and Tradition doesn't need Tampering With, or Tweaking! And YES, I am an Old Fogie, and, in this case, resistant to CHANGE!

Anybody have a link showing Bama's alternate unis? I can't seem to find them anywhere. I'd really like to see what kind of flash they're wearing to build such a powerhouse program.

They are Bama, they don't need gimmicks. They also recruit stud 5 star players, we don't get many if any of those. Jalen Hurts their stud qb was picked right out of OU's back yard. Really should not matter what you wear as long as you are well coached and well prepared, something else that we lack.
2 weeks to prepare for a not very good iowa state team and we lose. We would have still lost that game even with traditional unis on. We just aint very good. Also Saban would have thrown Mike out on his head long ago if he was his DC.

Bama has several versions of their uniform. Just ask all the 5 and 4 star recruits that sign with the Tide every year, year in and year out. Nick must let them practice in them to keep the players excited. LOL. Otherwise how can you explain Bama's success in luring the best recruits. It's gotta be the practice uni.
