please...please. Just watch him throw the d*mn ball before you say that. Not just the scripted fade into triple coverage in the end zone...watch him attempt a routine throw. It's like Henig post-7th concussion.

All we're saying is Relf will give us a better chance to win than Lee. Both suck. And the argument's made for both. And just so it's clear, Relf and Lee are both > than Henig.

Doesn't matter either way with Relf. He's good for a few wildcat snaps and that's it. Lee hasn't played well lately though. And he has absolutely no clue how to get rid of the football.

When you snap it to a running back directly, its the wildcat, when you snap it to the quarterback directly, its called the option.
And to reiterate what everyone else told you in this thread, its not that Relf is good by any means, its just that he can see over the line. Relf 1, Elf 0.

is that Relf is a QB in name only. The RB in the wildcat has an option man sometimes as well.

Can't argue the Relf - Elf thing though. Sheesh.

someone else would have signed him out from under Crooms. Because you can't depend on his passing, we were the only SEC team (and maybe the ONLY team) to offer him at QB.

What qualifies as Lee being "on"?
Y'all will have to excuse my ***-ness...I threw my wool in the dryer to get it extra poofy this week, somehow I thought we'd win out and I could make bowl game travel plans this year. Witnessing another crushing defeat in Little Rock just gets to me....sigh.

As to Lee, he's made the right throws and made accurate ones at times this season. Vandy, Kentucky, MTSU...he's passed well at times in those games and a few others. But yeah, putting the ball on the ground just sucks the life out of the team. At least with him, the D has to respect his passing abilities. With Relf, it's a matter of downs before they adjust and shut the off tackle stuff down.

From watching Relf in warm ups a few times this year and today. He can hit a target. However, his problem is he doesn't have a feel for where that target is. His timing and judgement of distance on routes is off. He holds on to the ball until after the receiver makes his break. Or if he throws before the break, it looks like he is anticipating the break to be earlier or later. Thus looking like he is under throwing or over throwing the target. He just doesn't have a feel for the routes and where/when the breaks are.
