This may have been discussed, if so ignore. Has anyone ever come up with an all time MSU team by position?
Here is mine:
1B -- Will Clark
2B -- Jeffery Ray (others may be better open to change)
SS -- Paul Petrulis (only SS at state to be named All-American, but open to change)
3B -- Travis Chapman (Young was good, but Chap did and meant more to his team)
C -- Ed Easley
OF -- Rafael Palmerio
OF -- Nat Showalter
OF -- Brad Corley (look at all the All-American honors, but willing to replace)
DH -- Tommy Raffo
P -- Eric DuBose
P -- Paul Maholm
P -- Jeff Brantley
Closer -- Bobby Thigpen</p>Edit Note: That's why I wanted to do this, just to generate the near impossible discussion of how to field the 9 positions and 3 weekend starters. I added the DH and Closer since they are relevant in today's game. However, I am a baseball pureist and think you shouldn't have a closer or dh.
