KW23, can you tell us a little about this Trojan team? Haven't kept up with many in the Northwest area except Mt. Airy and N. Stokes.

Got about 19 players dressed out. Have had lots of injuries. Can move the ball but have struggled to score on offense. Run the ball 90 percent of the time. Defense is pretty good, keeps us in games. Best back on offense imo is #3 MackLemasters but he doesn't get the ball enough. I personally think he should be qb, he did good when they let him play qb in spring but haven't let him play there since. He ran the read option which we run most of the time better than the current qb when he played qb in the spring imo. Current qb can sling it good and is better passer probably but we hardly call pass plays until we have to on 3rd and longs and defense is expecting it and giving him time to throw is difficult at times. #31 Proffit was our best rb but he got hurt a few weeks ago...had over 300yrds of offense vs N. Wilkes then he got hurt next week. #8 Nuevo is our best defensive player inside LB imo. He pretty much single handedly beat Elkin for us. Had a 90+ yard interception return for touchdown and made or was in on almost every tackle. We kept a lot of games s.stokes. N.stokes etc..close but turnovers kill us. Almost entire team goes both ways so by 4th qtr they seem gassed. Struggle to get plays in at times and have to waist timeouts at various times throughout the year to avoid delay of game penalties, qb has to run all the way to coach to get the play, and also plays on defense so by the time the game is over with he has probably ran more than a cross country race. Thats all I got. Sorry for rambling lol

I appreciate the information. Seems like the Trojans make regular trips to Murphy. Hope for safe travels and if anyone needs anything while they are here, message me on here.

It does seem like we play yall every year. I won't be making the trip 4 and half hours each way is a haul

Always liked Alleghany after seeing them play softball and baseball a few times

Alleghany didn't have anyone at Home game on Sr night. Will have no one at Murphy game imo.

Had nothing to do with skipping senior night..when I see schedule come out and see Mt airy on it...thats a find another game week.

You obviously haven't been paying attention to some of the behavior happening at school board meetings across the country. It has nothing to do with censorship. No one, and I mean no one has the right to act in a violent manner at school board meetings or direct violent threats to school board members.

How about just be a decent person and not threaten elected officials and you won't be called a domestic terrorist.

Meanwhile what's happening at school board meetings has nothing to do with low football attendance in Sparta. What a failed reach by you

Wasn't bad mouthing Alleghany just saying wasn't many on there side. Away had more. So I wouldn't expect them to come to Murphy
