Altavista vs. Central Lunenburg thoughts?

You mean how Salem who is out West beat one of those Tidewater teams in the state championship last year. You really need to actually know something about teams outside of a 20 mile radius of you before you talk about what other teams have or how good they are.
If thats the case, then he didnt tear his acl, which would be great news. It is a devastating injury for high school kids. I hope he is on the field. I will be pulling for Sussex and Essex the rest of the way
Yeah apparently he didn't tear his ACL. I heard the other week he was coming back and then others said he wasn't but saw something today where it looks as if he will. Good news as he is a great young player and a difference maker on both sides of the ball

On a side note I'm wondering how a thread about Altavista vs Central got taken over by so much talk about other teams. I feel like this thread should be about these two teams. Just my two cents.
You are right they haven't played anyone...their record is 0-0. A few teams have a better record! LOL. Bright side there isn't any pressure like other undefeated teams because Sussex hasn't played any competition. They are playing with house money
Not sure about that...Hill been out for over a month. I don't see him coming back this year.

Altavista always seems to find another gear in the playoffs. This team is not quite as strong upfront. The only true solid lineman is Farmer. The rest are ok but will have issues in the latter rounds I think they can survive this week, but the 3rd round will not be as nice. Colonels basketball starts to heat up when football ends and I think they may only have another week to wait
Ive been saying this the whole time...I dont know how they went under the radar for so long. Their seeding means nathing(not a thing) bc of the schedule they play and bc of the type of program they are...these kids are champions. They know what it takes to win in big moments. That experience is vital.
