Altavista vs. Rustburg thoughts?

Rustburg by 2 or more TD's way to physical up front for the Colonels . Altavista will have trouble scoring . Atown defense will keep them in it for a while .

In football, Rustburg is probably best suited to move into the Dogwood district. They are consistently overmatched depth wise in the Seminole. In addition, they have built in rivalry games in place with AltaVista and Appomattox
As far as this week, Rustburg relies more on power running, and AltaVista is a speed/finesse style team. If the Red Devils can minimize mistakes and big plays they should win. However, the AltaVista crowd could be a factor. The Colonels play better at home, and have a great fan base. Finally, Coach Sharnus hates to lose to Rustburg so he might dial it up a notch. This game will be close....

It seems that Rustburg wins their first 5 games each year and loses their 2nd 5. Granted that's not 100% true, but it seems close.

Blanked em 28-0... Next week home vs Brookville should be a good one. They'll have to throw it around to keep up with the bees but should be good game.
