No ****, you'd think he'd just joined the board within the last year or so. There has always been Ole Miss Posters on here, at least since I've been here.
And we've gotten along pretty well for the most part.

Don't act like this board today is the same as it was 1 year ago. I can't explain the reason for the difference I can just throw out theories. Ask DS, HD6 or C34 what's going on. They have the answers.

It is a lot different. We no longer have people kicking the rebel hornet nest to see what they can stir up then bitching when they get stung. At least for the most part we don't. It's been a lot more civil here since IT.

Some of you guys crack me up

I joined sps in 2006. At that time there were always people complaining about rebel posters. A couple of years later the primary target was RebelBruiser...to the rescue of course. Then we finally came out of the cellar of football with Mullen in charge and a lot of posters complained that they no longer liked the OM fans because they still thought we sucked while we were on the rise. This battle of proving we were good to OM internet heros was funny at times but the complaints of their infiltration continued. Then our AD starts making billboards and there was a year or so where the complainers about OM posters argued like crazy with OM folks that our billboards "were working" because they posted so much about it on SPS. We then went through the firing of Rev Nutt and the hiring of Rev Teeth. We argued fiercely with a similar mix of OM posters that it was indeed a horrible hire and that they would lose all but 2 games. We saw how that turned out. OM fans gloated like crazy after three years of beat downs. We argued yet again with them here about storming the field and them being our real rivals more clearly than ever. In the last year C34 blessed all with a glorious Rule 14 violation and took his ball and went home. Since that time he and his new crew have from what I hear said ad nauseum that ED was created because OM had overrun SPS.....and you now think that it has never been this bad. Big surprise.

You are likely just one of those old fellas that remembers the good ol days by forgetting the negative stuff and only remembering the positive.

One of these doesn't belong. How about a Mod that actively calls out blatant racism and responds accordingly? What would you think about a Mod that just let's inflammatory posts fester and simmer for almost 2 weeks, only deleting them when brought to light. This hurts the entire state. Let the hate flow between rivals, but this stupid **** goes above and beyond State and Ole Miss. Some people don't get it. Posters got called on ******** and feelings got hurt. Thanking a recruit's father for his "wonderful" insight into the mind of his child, while sweeping garbage under the rug, is well...reminds me of "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner". I applaud SPS and posters from State and Ole Miss. It might stink right now, but we'll all be better for it in the long run.

this board a year ago was the anomaly. The way it is now is pretty close to how it has always been. I would say there are less ole miss posters now. There use to be alot of crossover and there was a ton of **** talking and a few ******* homers but it was ok for the most part. That was before it became gospel within our fanbase that ole miss prostitutes its daughters, buys players on a scale never before seen (we are the ones on probation by the way), and all of them secretly hate black people. Once that became some great truth that was accepted by almost everyone over here this board started to suck. Now a lot of people that perpetuated that left so yea the board is getting back to normal

Wait... really????

Tell me what I need to do so you'll leave for good. I'll gladly oblige.

You started a thread about that was just way to close to the edge of hoping a guy gets hurt. Bruiser never lived that **** down and no longer posts here, unless he's got a new username I don't know about.

If you don't see what's wrong about a buy/sell on a guy getting hurt in the first game of the year, then you just need to move along.

My post in no way was about wanting a guy to get hurt. I was really just trying to point out that they have no capable backup QB. You took that in a whole entire different direction than I intended it to go. I should of said that in my post I guess.

Well to be fair isn't Wallace kinda, sorta hurt now? Wallace is a physical qb and questioning how his surgically repaired shoulder holds up to his physicality is a fair question to me.

If you're asking "who's" our backup, a different question than your nonsensical query, it's the weed-grinding guy who can't really throw straight. But I hear he has good weed.

Ok grammar police. Now you could see how a 4-8 season is not out of the question with your soon to be suspended backup QB leaving you with Wallace and nobody else.

"Now" implies that I've just discovered this amazing revelation. If Wallace goes down we're screwed, not because Brunetti will be suspended but because he's not a good quarterback. No one denies this. Your thread was asking people to buy/sell whether Wallace would get hurt in the first game.

And what are we going to do if Tyler goes down in the first game? The last I heard it may be mid season before Dak is 100%. That buy/sell would've been nothing more than a Dawg/Rebel shitstorm that eggbowl.com would've been proud of.

I call it racist because it's racist. I like to keep it simple.

I think a lot of the guys here call it racist bc they don't like ED. A lot of the guys there call it racist to shut up the opposition to their argument.

Please don't tell me you read those political threads and did not see any racism.

I think that if you wanna read racism into that you can. I believe there's a lot of people that wanted to so they did. There's certainly some questionable posts that shouldn't have been posted, but the overwhelming majority were not racist comments.

So what do you read into this statement by CadaverDawg?
"Blacks don’t want equality, they want advantages and special treatment. It’s as if they think since their ancestors were slaves, they can never be found guilty of anything again no matter how true it is, and it’s racism if they do.”

If you feel that comment by a state fan is racist, why would you repost it other than to other than to try and hurt ED? This is more a pissing contest than an attempt to fix racial relations IMO

The point he's making has nothing to do with Wallace being hurt, having surgery, or weak depth. He started a thread that literally said, "Buy/Sell: Wallace gets hurt in Game 1 and OM goes 4-8." What kind of ridiculous prediction thread is that? If he wanted to discuss the depth issue, he should have, at the very least, said it in his post.... but it was beyond ridiculous to predict Wallace getting hurt in Game 1. It would have sounded a LOT better if he had said "Buy/Sell: If Wallace gets hurt in game 1, OM goes no better than 4-8." Doesn't that sound a lot better? I'd even venture to say that would have never been locked, either.

Then the icing on the cake is when Flab took it over to ED and made it sound like 6pack was locking OM threads to protect "rebel interests and the spin machine." Talk about hilarious and a weak attempt to push an agenda...
