Geez...this is starting to be like a cat fight between ED and SPS. I really like both sites and I hate it seeming you have to pick a side. Aren't we all state fans? Can't both sites coexist without the bickering? I hope so bc I wanna be a part of both

Coach34 has been kicking the Hornet's nest for years trying to get a rise out of people... it has usually worked well for him (I actually never had a problem when he did that stuff over here). But since that board opened, every thread has mentioned ED being a "breath of fresh air from 6pack and the horrible HD6, DS, and der who are secret rebels because they allow OM posters and an OM mod..." since then, it's turned into an enormous agenda and constant bitching about OM and 6pack hurting MSU (they even link threads that have been legitimately locked over here... and spin it into some conspiracy).
All that is fine until they get busted doing the very thing they are bitching about others doing. It's like trying to scream "citizen's arrest" at a police officer for speeding. It's fun until you get busted speeding yourself, then no one cares to shows you any mercy.
Considering their leader, though, I'm not surprised.

I don't know. I know that CD is a good guy and not a racist person. I've posted things before that came across the wrong way and didn't really express correctly what I was trying to say. I'm sure CD got caught up in the moment and posted something too quickly on a topic we should really proofread before posting. Again though, I'm not CD's press secretary.
I'll tell you a quick story so this thread can get locked...
I had zero problem with either board when ED started up. None. Never had a problem with C34 because he was passionate and controversial... great topics started when he was here... some not-so-great moments, too... that's beside the point.
There was one moment on ED where a poster went on a rampage about someone on 6pack "dissing" Daryl Norris (the night he gave up the game-winning bomb against USCe... someone here said he should transfer... he was promptly picked apart and kicked to the curb by several posters here). It was uncalled for, but the troops on ED assembled to counter attack personal statements directed at current players because "players read message boards." They actually do read message boards, and I supported that counter attack because on both boards, emotions get WAY too heated and personal attacks on players are thrown out with no regard (see Chad Girado circa. 2011-2012 on here for a great example of what I'm talking about).
That was... until a game thread against Vandy in the SECT appeared (this had actually been happening in several game threads, resulting in game threads being deleted). People seemed to forget what they had posted just a week prior about attacking players, because we might as well had just blown a 12-6 lead in the Top of the 9th with 2 outs than lose to No. 2 Vandy. So I called it out... thought it was ridiculous to preach "not to bash players (because 6pack did it)" and just ignore that entire premise on ED. I'm not talking about statements like "Jacob Lindgren is really struggling today," I mean statements like "17 Lindgren" (I'll link the thread if you want to... the game thread is gone).
I got drug through the damn coals... so much so I have no problem picking a side here.

I call it truth and i do not feel that is a racist statement at all. I think flab has it right. Since opinions are so strictly moderated over here you can moderate this how you see fit.
I think you and others do cater to the ole miss posters over here a little too much. I also feel that if you are really calling CD and his statements racist then your a liberal who screams racism over anything. Or you could share CD exact thoughts in your real life but since your the famous HD6 you choose to be politically correct on the board. Either way I don't give a crap what happens over here or over there. I don't really care for you and if you were not moderating this board would probably be a little better, that's my honest opinion.

How do you say he is not a racist person when we literally have proof that he is? Is the irony lost on you that he came over telling people not to talk bad about recruits and then it comes out that the racist ******** he says would hurt you far worse than anybody talking bad about a recruit? Well, your basketball coach likes to yell out the N-word at cabbies, and black players still come to play for him. Your entire fanbase refused to stop yelling a racist chant, even with your administration and coaching staff begged you to stop, so you had to give up a tradition, yet black players still come to play for you. Obama riots, KKK rally, etc., and you still get black recruits.
Cadaver Dawg's unfortunate post (which he admits was past the line) isn't going to hurt us with recruiting by itself, although some of the stuff that some of the other actual racist posters on ED might if it snowballs. I do find it farcically ironic that an Ole Miss fan would have the audacity to call out anyone else for having a few racist fans, though.

I am under no illusions that Ole Miss had/has racial problems. We have just as many dumb *** fans as you do. If it was an Ole Miss fan saying that, I'd call him racist too. But you're trying to deflect that Cadaver is racist by saying "Well, Ole Miss is real racist."
