I have to admit this fascinates me a little. This little known man from small town Alabama who signed to play college football at a SWAC school obviously is getting his 15 minutes of fame.

1. He's a complete narcissist. 99.9 percent of this board is more successful than he is in life, yet he has written a book based on his life story. All of the 15 minutes is leading to 100 people buying the book rather than friends and family, I guarantee.

2. What kind of grown man hangs out at high schools trying to be a volunteer coach. And if you guys outside Nashville haven't heard, he turned in a successful program in the area for violations after he tried to get a full time job with them. The TSSAA investigated and found nothing. Not even a shred of evidence that the allegations he made against Riverdale were true. If I had a kid at Franklin Independence, where he is volunteering now, I'd make sure that he wasn't allowed around. He's been banned by two school districts.

3. Again, back to the narcissism. Without any fame or fortune, who creates a foundation in their own name? It's for the kids, I know. But he goes out and solicits donations for his foundation, which basically run his personal budget. Sure, he might get out and run a charity basketball tournament, or spend some time with some kids, all that is worthy and notable, but geez, there are professional athletes that have foundations that aren't tied to their personal names.

4. Why is he calling in radio shows all over the South lately? You know what I think? This investigation is about to come out into the open, and just like the TSSAA investigation, its going to shed him in a negative light. Unlike the TSSAA investigations, folks outside Rutherford County, Tennessee are going to know about it. He is ruined. He will never get the college coaching job he has coveted and he knows it. So what does a narcissist do? He goes out and tries to "clear his name" before its drug through the mud. I would almost guarantee that when this is all said and done, he is going to have egg on his face.

5. It is a well known fact that he is hard of for money. His "foundation" hasn't gotten the donations in a down economy, so he's turned to this 7 on 7 game. He goes in, gains these kids trust, and gets some sponsorship dollars for his trouble. All of a sudden, this leech, as others have called him, gets a couple of highly recruited guys and like an ugly parent that tries to put their daughter into the beauty pageant scene, he's trying to live vicariously through these kids. He grew up in Calera, Alabama, where he probably heard stories of Eric Ramsey and the like and always dreamed of being that recruit that was offered money. The problem is that he wasn't quite good enough to play on that level. So now he leeches on to these guys that do. He is a wannabe street agent.

6. The Paul Finebaum story of almost having to call the cops on this guy isn't being talked about enough . Bottom line, this guy is a real piece of work. He is simply unbelievable. And Ole Miss fans that are holding this guy's word as it were Moses, I'd be worried that the next sponsorship dollars that comes into the West Tennessee Express have another agenda. This guy did have a relationship with Redmond, but when he started bringing Autry into it, it was clear that he just had an agenda to grind. Yeah, Mullen probably used him to get Redmond. Let him speak at a clinic and gave him a token interview. He got pissed off when he realized it. Now he realizes that his shot is gone and he's throwing mud against the wall and sees what sticks.

Paul Finebaum, who loathes everything Mississippi State, halfway defended us on his show a couple days by saying this guy was "less than credible." Then he proceeded to tell a story of how he showed up at Finebaum's studio making threats and stuff and they just about had to call the police to have him to leave. You could tell that Finebaum was disgusted at the mere mention of his name

Something along the lines of him and Finebaum having words then this guy hung around the outside of the studio and threatned to bet Finebaums ***.

I don't know the reason they got into it to start with, maybe someone else can help with that.

No need for that

I just know a bit more about this guy. Read the stories that Flab posted. He did this same crap at Riverdale High School. Wanted a job. Did not get a job. Threw out bogus allegations.

The part we haven't seen yet is governing body says fat 17er is full of ****.

and now his 7 on 7 gig is toast b/c his association is going to be toxic to D1 recruits. Unless we're talking 4 or 5 star kids that someone views as a program changer, no coach is going to want to get anywhere near kids is his program. Much less have him on campus during official visits.

He clearly did not read Worldwide Wes's notes on how to deal with investigations into street agents.
