Listening to the scarletknights.com audio broadcast of last night's game vs Florida Gulf Coast, the announcer gave a stat that I found mind boggling. Last night was the 14th game of season. No one on Rutgers has hit a home run yet. We're not talking about one player, we're talking about THE ENTIRE TEAM.

Not one guy getting the barrel of the bat on the ball with a little trajectory in this many games is odd.
There’s always the hit one by accident odds.

But here at RU the percentages don’t apply to us...the fact no wide receivers have caught a ball in the air thrown over 30 yards in three years is beyond mind boggling, don’t defensive backs trip and fall down or blow a coverage ever against us?

Only at Rutgers

In the second inning of game 16 we finally got our first two - back to back. The FGCU coach immediately took the pitcher out. Not kidding

I think our freshman first baseman Chris Brito (no relation to pitcher Serafino?) will become a power hitter. He was one of the best power hitters in NJ HS the past 2 seasons, and his dad was a Major Leaguer
