No one with any sense has said we should schedule like a top 10 badass. Check your archives. All anyone has said is that we have some RPI killers at the bottom, and no great opportunities to earn, as the newest buzzword goes, resume' wins at the top. The middle of our OOC schedule.....bleh. Below average.

We got fortunate with Richmond and ODU. I doubt even their fans expected them to be this high in the RPI right now. I can assure you the brain trust of scheduling at MSU did not anticipate it. They are helping offset, a little, the four games on our schedule that have done more harm than good.

As for winning, we are 4-1 in our best five OOC RPI games. If we added four more games in that range (teams expected to be in the top 30 through the top 125), we ought to be able to be no worse than 3-1 in those as well. That 3-1 would be better than 4-0 in the awful games, even if the season's win total was reduced by one. I know that concept is difficult and probably to difficult for you, but it is reality.

for the most part, I dont' care what you do. I just think its odd that you insist on using the homoerotic references.

obvious, that I offended you. Since you do care so much, I actually apologized to DS last night for being a jackass and saying what I said to him. DumbassDawg, on the other hand, well....like I said in my first post in this thread - I just find it so damn funny that he wants to run off the most successful coach we've had on campus in the last decade, yet defended ALL THINGS CROOM up until the very end. There, did I say that better? Does 8dog approve of this post? Please let me know so I can sleep tonight.

..hey Auburn guy, it's real simple:

1. No matter how "bad" your schedule is, if you play in the SEC & win your home games, you are going to make the tournament. Question: Why is MSU currently out of the tournament picture? It has nothing to do with your statistical analysis of schedule strength. It has everything to do with MSU's inability to beat Rider & Kentucky @ home.

2. Leave it to you & your buddy coach34 to ***** about how bad the schedule iswhen MSU can't even beat the teams on its current schedule. Talk about not being in touch with reality.

...we'll tell everyone on the board that you aren't gay and that the homosexual references are purely coincidental. Those are the terms.

...I can only imagine how the integrity of this board would be lifted if dawgstudent wasn't so inclined to keep you around.

You toss more **** on this board in oneday than the chimp @ the Jackson zoo tossed over the span of a decade.

RonnyAtmosphere[/b]]MSU has only 2 home losses this season: Rider & Kentucky. Win both of those, & MSU is in the tournament. Just win the UK game, & MSU is in the tournament. Beat Rider @home like you are suppossed to, & that "bad loss" stain is removed.

See how this is shaping up? A so-called crappy schedule doesn't dictate crap. Losing home games is what dictates your destiny. In college basketball, you have to win your home games in order to make the tournament. If you don't believe me, go ask Ole Miss.

I realize bitching about scheduling is par for the course for this board, but why the hell would you want to put more losses on the schedule when MSU can't even handle their current schedule?

Stans has made a BAD habit of losing early season OOC games to crappy teams, we might as well play real teams if we are going to lose, it helps your RPI.
