While the Magnolia state wasn't much better, Maine was the only state that picked the SEC as the most likely conference to be left out of the 4-Team playoff at a higher percentage than the alpha and omega of college football, Alabama. According to the votes, 22% of those from Maine expected the SEC to be left out of the football playoff compared to 17% of Alabama voters, Mississippi followed at 15%. Sadly the national average was 8%. But who can argue with the state that has the national championship trophy make stops at Walmart?
