is he redshirting? haven't seen ya'll play and haven't seen him mentioned.

there is a thread below about ole miss having to pony up if freeze keeps looking good and it was posted that both OM and MSU can pay to keep head coaches. bama's saban hire did a couple of things. one it moved the bar on top HC salaries which might have seemed like a negative to our schools who don't have money to burn. but it also proved the value of the right investment. a winning football program brings in boatloads of money and pub to the school. mullen and hopefully freeze almost can't be paid too much. and neither of us have to win the NC to make it pay off. bama paid saban basically a 1 mill "bonus" when they hired him at 3.5 (about 1m more than the top going rate then). he must have brought in 100 mill to the university. hopefully both our AD's understand this.

Quay has played in every game but one bro..

Looks like hype is real with him. To bad yall couldn't land him.

Mullen and Freeze are going nowhere.

Good topic though.

You must not be looking for Quay very hard. He is playing about 1/3 of the downs on defense now, and has made a major impact, with a fumble recovery and getting penetration. There are many State fans that think he should be starting. He will be a starter next year. Nick James is also doing well, as he needed time to get into playing shape after being a little late reporting.
