this year. I was about to call my Dad and tell him to turn the game on because we were up by 3 with 2 outs in the 8th and Stratton rolling. I thought to myself, nope I'm going to wait at least until we have a lead in the 9th. Needless to say, I never called him. And if I had, he would have told me, " if anybody can blow a 3 run lead with 4 outs left, it's our Bulldogs so don't count your chickens before they hatch". I guess tonight is why I still get nervous when I watch a recorded game that we won! I still feel like we could blow it even when I know the outcome. Sucks, but I'll be tuned in and screaming like an idiot every time we score a run tomorrow.

MSU's baseball program is beginning to enter the same shameful, dismal territory the basketball program has entered.


Somebody within the MSU athletic establishment needs to read the riot act to everybody involved with MSU baseball.

Cohen will keep putting him in there if he is available stamina-wise until he is 0-15. This season has proved to me that he is indeed that stubborn. He does not change over the course of a season even if his way has proven not to work. Reed, Girodo, Britton(until it was impossible not to play Frost - as bad as that is) and my topic of specialty: bunting (especially bunting with our few power hitters).

Seriously though, Reed has been getting ripped, it's time to move him to middle relief or the pine. Tonight's loss just really stings.....I felt like our season could flip if we won 1 or 2 this weekend. Now I'm thinking that the confidence we built up last weekend is long gone after this choke job.
