You won't be getting a national seed. You're closer to a #2 seed than to a national seed right now. Not that it matters. You never win more than one game in a super anyway.

Rebel coworker ...

Lose this elimination game and you may not be a "natty seed".

Has been avoiding me since the booboo shark loss to the hogs. When I did run into him he told me ... "Trent won't start today against Vandy 'cause he is a little stiff.' Massie will be facing Tyler Beede. He is NOT in a good mood.

I think if SC loses, we are at least 50/50 odds for a national seed. The Vandy win bumped our RPI to 11, and you need to be top 12 historically to get it. Obviously, we have more games to play, so beating another high RPI might actually lock it up. No chance at a 2 seed.

Yeah..... So that's WAY off. Nowhere near a #2 seed, no matter how much u want to think it.

Are the seeds decided before the Saturday games? Y'all are in an interesting spot. Y'all may have to beat LSU to get it.

Things are falling into place nicely for the Bearz if they can win a couple more

games.

The other day I was actually pondering how the Bear at Work anecdotes have declined dramatically on SPS since the launch of ED. (Shockingly, the Bear at Work genre is thriving on ED.) So it seems the Bears who act like complete dipshits mostly work with the Elite segment of the MSU fan base. I don't really know what to make of this sociological observation, but I miss a good Bear at Work yarn and thank you kindly for sharing yours.

Of course I'm not sure what the selection committee will do. But I'll still be surprised if you get a national seed.

The conference tournaments just haven't seemed to be that important to the committee in the past. If they saw Vandy or USC as national seeds but not Ole Miss before hand, they probably won't have Ole Miss jump those teams and take one away. At the same time, looking at the RPI, there are a lot of teams ahead of Ole Miss that are conference champions.
