If it wasn't for that cyclone fence, the Gridiron Club would be pretty cool.**

I've gotta admit... that crazy angle of the exterior of the north end zone still bugs the hell out of me. I actually feel like it looks worse in reality than it did in the renderings. Why in the world could they have not re-routed that road?

from the aerial shots (taken from the north) our stadium looks like a giant Q or will once it's fully enclosed.

When I saw the final plans, I knew that it was going to look awkward as hell. Maybe it won't look too bad from the pedestrian level, but that huge videoboard is going to expose the poor angle.

The only thing that I can think of is that they're going to do something with the parking lot beside the Architecture Building and between DWS and the Hump. They should have just built a new Architecture Building and opened up that whole corner for sporting events.

I'm with ya, brother. If you're going to spend $150M+ on a permanent structure upgrade, you gotta do it right. Re-routing the road wouldn't have been a big deal at all IMO. You could even make a tunnel. We are M-State tho. It also bugs me that the sides don't match up. The old sideline stands go a few rows higher than the new addition. Wtf? We are M-State.

Overall, the stadium is awesome and it looks great, but ppl will say, "that looks strange," when they see aerial shots. We don't play on CBS too much tho, so there shouldn't be that many.

I hope it makes it a lot louder. That's what I'm most excited for the be honest.

what is crazy, after all the debate on here, it turns out, there was plenty of room to do the bowl without even messing with the road at all. there is PLENTY of space between the road and where the structure begins. i dont know about an upper deck section outside of what we already have in the given footprint, but the extra part is just that.

we look like the retarded brother of lambeau.

all that said, im still pumped we got it, the execution is just kinda m-state-ish.

it will make a pretty unique courtyard area and an excellent back-door to the stadium

Damn, are y'all OCD?

It's symmetric where it should be.

Agree, it should look more symmetrical. Like these great stadiums:

Yes.

Are you serious?

There are no strange angles from within the stadium. Sight lines look like they will be good. I don't understand the hate on the blimp view angle of the portion of the facility that provides auxiliary services. Would I prefer it to be symmetrical? Sure. Is there a reason for the shift? I'd put money on it. I'm more concerned with awkwardness from ground level on the completed product.
