Silva definitely acting like an idiot. He's always done that a little every fight... but tonight he took the mockery to a whole new level.

I hate his asshatedness as much as anybody, but I think a large part of it is trying to 17 with the other guy's head and get him frustrated and intimidated. With him bending back that way I don't see how the punch had the leverage to take effect like it did. But damn, it sure did.

Virtually none. Dude knocked him out early in the 2nd round and Silva had spent the whole time walking around with his hands down trying to coax Weidman into swinging. I know this is kinda his M.O., but I don't see how you don't take it more seriously. These guys are so quick and powerful that all it takes to get KO'd is one good shot and Silva found that out tonight. That Frankie Edgar fight was badass too, even though it ended in a decision.
Yea, wasn't really that hard of a hit. He either just hit him in the right spot or Silva wasn't expecting it to land and was relaxed. Punches do more damage when your relaxed and/or not expecting it.
I was glad to see him get what he deserved. He's been so good for so long, I honestly think he was getting bored and that's why all the taunting. He might haven taken notice fighting GSP or John Jones. He has been like Fedor in his prime. Best knockout I have ever seen (and hardest) and most deserved was Dan Henderson on Mike Bisping (british prick) hard, solid, and completely square. Most of the time they look like glancing blows.
