Can't wait to hear the excuses for Miles on this one.....does he get canned after another losing season?
Miles has never once filled out the roster during his tenure at NU. Doubtful he does so now...Miles will lucky to be employed at Nebraska in a few years IMO.
Not defending Miles, who I have never been crazy about - but this is an odd choice for White. If he goes to a better team, he may not even see the court. At NU, he had a chance to be the main guy next year. Doubt he gets that opportunity elsewhere, unless it's with a pretty bad team.

Osborne hires are not expected to fill out rosters
I got a LOT of flack over the recent article where he talked about me, me, me and not one word about team.
I am GLAD he is gone, I thought his game was WAY over-rated since game 1 (except his jumper of course). He will NOT play in the NBA except perhaps as a 12th man for his 3 pt shot.
I hope he gets his degree so he can end up with a real job.
I'm pretty sure he has his degree… That's why he's going to be a graduate transfer.
Not at all except for timing and not being able to fill that ship. I am SO glad he is gone. This season, for him, is only about getting ready for the draft. He could give a crap about the team he plays for.
Yeah...because we have shooters and rebounders growing on trees right? Hip hip hooray...he's gone, can't wait for another 14-18 type season full of great jokes.
White was the difference between a bad season and an unwatchable season.
Remember when husker basketball fans were telling us the team would be better without Petteway, then they were saying we will be better without shields, and now better without white. Maybe the huskers will be better without miles
And...may very well be the difference between Miles keeping his job...or not. It's not trending in the right direction for him. He's going to be have to be really really funny this upcoming season to get the fans feeling better about another losing season.

I don't remember that, but you were spot on. Listening to his interviews "we" was never mentioned. Just "me" and "I".
You want a guy that doesn't give two shakes about winning or his team? A guy that just wants to show scouts he is worth pick x? Really? He showed his true colors with this move just like Kevin Williams did! Good riddance!
I never heard one person say we would be better w/o Shevon. I LOVED Shevon's game, he bled for his team and school.
I'll take the chance of White trying to get his over what our current roster looks like. Now, we are certainly destined for another losing season. But hey...Miles is funny!
Well they clearly don't know basketball. I would have been REALLY disappointed if any of last year's freshmen transferred. I was hounded for calling White a role player after his first few games last year. Commentators on TV just looked at his ppg and were calling him a stud. That changed after 4-5 B10 games and then I heard some commentators (the smart ones - haha) calling him a role player. The dude just could not handle the basketball. You can't call yourself a great player in basketball and not be able to handle it. Dude had NO moves, a jumper and straight drive was all he had. The JUNK he threw up under the basket was embarrassing.
Exactly...the facts don't fit your narrative. White was averaging 18 PPG after his first 5 Big Ten games...lol. Your boy McVeigh won't sniff that.
Exactly nothing. I hope you are laughing at your knowledge of basketball. McVeigh will be a much better player. As a true freshmen he was a better ball handler and had 10x the offensive game. He actually could make moves, a reverse pivot for God's sake. White could do NOTHING except, rebound and shoot, great addition to a team if you are a team player which he has proven not to be. White did not show one single post move the entire season. You comparing a true freshmen against a 3 year player. He left Kansas because he was never going to be anything but a role player. KU doesn't play those games!
Be careful what you say about Miles. There are still people on this board who will rip you for that and will still maintain that "Miles is the best thing to ever happen to Husker hoops"
10 times the offensive game? Lol! Thanks for the laugh. I needed that. A guy who scored 3 points in his last six games is 10 times better on the offensive end compared to a guy who averaged 17 PPG. Lol! Nice basketball knowledge fella!
Let this team grow a bit, one must admit he has recruiting well the past two years. Judge after next season when these sophomores are juniors.
I'm talking the variety of his offensive game, the variety of moves not points. So you think White is a future NBA star eh? What is YOUR prediction "fella"? I say he NEVER starts a single game and will be lucky to be on a team for even one season.
