last time i was in N.O. we caught 4 cabs: 2 Sri Lankans, an Aruban, and an Indian.
drunk buddy of mine that was with us is ex-army. he kept asking them where they were from. when we asked him why later, he said he wanted to make sure we werent "riding with the enemy". wow.

both the witness AND the alcohol. i hope, for his sake, that he has a couple of witnesses lined up too. by pleading not guilty, he may be trying to save his job, but pleading guilty and coming out with an apologetic statement and promises of rehab could've been a better move in the long run.
